Zija International Expanding To Costa Rica And Chile

Zija was pre-launched in Costa Rica at the end of May, while Chile is expected to pre-launch later this month on June 30th.

During this time individuals can enroll as Independent Distributors or Wholesale Members in these countries, purchase products, and begin building their business. Existing Distributors worldwide can also begin enrolling individuals living in these countries onto their teams.

Both markets are starting out with one of Zija’s most popular products, SmartMix, which contains nutrient-dense Moringa oleifera as well as other beneficial ingredients like chicory root extract and foti root extract. Both markets will also begin participating in Zija’s Fast Start Commissions promotion, which was introduced over the last few months and is already doing incredibly well.

Amway Wants To Shut Down Amway Wiki

For many years an Amway rep runs the www.thetruthaboutamway.com website and Amway Wiki. Seems the Amway Business Conduct & Rules department wants the website to shut down.

The Truth About Amway website:

"Years ago there was a website called Quixtar Wiki. It was run by Amway and Quixtar critics and they filled it essentially with criticism and anything negative they could find about the Amway and Quixtar businesses, and some stuff that was just plain made up.

Any time you searched for a Diamond’s name, it would rank near the top of Google’s listings. So, if you invited some prospect to come to a seminar to listen to a successful Amway achiever, they’d google the person’s name and end up on a virulently anti-Amway website"

Good stuff, eh?

So nine years ago I started Amway Wiki, which would give a true picture of the business. I wouldn’t hide the negative – court cases, divorces, terminations, whatever – that kind of information is there too. But so is all the positive stories of the thousands of Diamonds around the world. Today, if you invite one of your prospects to a meeting to hear from an Amway Diamond, and they google the name, odds are AmwayWiki will be at or near the top of the pile – and people will get a positive view, the truth.

Today, AmwayWiki gets around 50,000 page views a month, from thousands of people around the world. They get a perspective on Amway written by hundreds of editors from around the world, mostly (I assume!) Amway IBOs themselves.

I personally rarely edit AmwayWiki.  Indeed, I no longer even own it (or this site for that matter). AmwayWiki was just one of a number of web properties I packaged as a deal in exchange for shares in a company that owns a variety of websites.

Every now and then though, someone from Amway corporate around the world has emailed me and asked if I can make some changes to an article. It’s an open wiki, so they could actually edit it themselves – as can anyone else – but I usually help and make the changes.

Sometimes it’s to correct errors, sometimes it’s because they’re concerned there’s too much Line of Sponsorship (LOS) information in the article.  LOS data can be valuable to competitors to Amway who may try to raid entire Amway lines and convince them to move companies.  In acknowledgement of this, since the beginning of Amway Wiki I set a guideline that (except for exceptional historical cases) only Diamond and above achievers should be listed. No Emeralds, Platinums, or others. Occasionally people put this information in, and if I become aware of it, I delete it.

There are now thousands of articles on Amway Diamonds from around the world. I think I’ve written or contributed to only a handful. During the week I received a phone message from Amway legal Rules & Conduct department asking me to contact them about the wiki. I emailed them but it appears there is something wrong with Amway’s email setup as two of my addresses were rejected and the third I received no response from.

So today my US upline who handles my business there sent me a scan of a letter I’d received. They want me to delete all of the Diamond pages, or disable the website entirely. Previously when they’ve requested smaller changes they’ve threatened to cancel my IBOship if I don’t comply.

One wonders if Amway Legal has ever read How to Win Friend’s and Influence People!

Holton Buggs And Shane Morand – Organo Gold Commissions Analyzed

There is a lot of discussion going on about Organo Gold's compensation plan.

Both Holton Buggs as Shane Morand – Global Master Distributor have done a tremendous job by building up in a short time frame a $215 million USA business according to well informed Direct Selling News.

According to a well informed high ranked OG distributor the $215 million is most likely only USA revenue.

An estimated $100 million extra revenue is from the rest of the world.

Both Holton Buggs as Shane Morand cash in over $1+ million a month, they are listed for est. $400,000 per month as the Business For Home ranks are based on the regular compensation plan and not on off compensation plan deals.

Nothing wrong with extra rewards for top producers however if those rewards are not for the average Joe we do not count those rewards for the ranks.

A legit compensation plan pays out on average 35 – 38% over the company sales. Organo Gold distributors claim it is higher in their pay plan however a non internet based product company like Organo Gold can not pay out more then 45%. Otherwise either your products are extremely over priced or you go in debt.

Lets assume Organo Gold pays as high as 45% commission over $315 million, which is $142 million commission. Both Holton Bugss and Shane Morand receive over $24+ million annual. (17% of all commissions) Left for the other leaders $128 million.

There are approx. 118 leaders listed below with total annual earnings of $51 million. Left for all other Organo Gold distributors $77 million.

We estimated Organo Gold has 50,000 ACTIVE distributors, then the average ANNUAL pay out for that group is $1,540.

It is safe to say Organo Gold has a top weight compensation plan, it favors Top Recruiters, through compression, for the average Joe, it is a tough deal.

But life is a tough deal for the average Joe….

Tissa Godavitarne – Top Internet Marketer Interview

Tissa Godavitarne is a highly successful network marketer and product developer.  He’s widely known as the “Non-guru” for his no-hype approach to training and building teams.

While others update their Facebook status on Fridays with ‘TGIF’, Tissa is known for his ‘TGIM’ status updates on Mondays.  It’s a reflection of the work-from-home lifestyle he has built for himself.  He never has to dread Mondays :)

Tissa is involved in several Internet-based business opportunities.  He uses a Multiple Streams of Income strategy and is one the top earners in both Empower Network and GVO’s Pure Leverage.

He lives in Haymarket, Virginia, U.S.A. , just outside Washington DC, and is married to Carolyn. They have two children, and a cat named Apple.

Ted Nuyten had the honor of interviewing Tissa recently.

Tissa, how did you got involved into the Network Marketing business? Who invited you?

My first foray into network marketing was back in 2008 when I joined Global Domains International (GDI).  Prior to that I’d been strictly an affiliate marketer, selling Clickbank products for example.  When I built ACME People Search in 2007, GDI was where most of my affiliates hosted their people search engines.

No one really invited me to the business; I came across a GDI link and I joined!  I didn’t even know my sponsor at the time, and yet I became a six-figure earner in GDI.  That’s why to this day, I believe it’s important not to hold anyone else – including your sponsor – responsible for your success.  Ultimately you are solely responsible for your success, and it’s empowering once you realize that!

What was your opinion about MLM before you got involved?

Honestly, I thought what many people think at first: That it’s some pyramid thing or something schemey!  But as I know now, that opinion was born out of complete ignorance on my part.  Once I realized how genuine and empowering network marketing is for both myself and my Teams, I pretty much gave up all affiliate marketing and now I focus full-time on network marketing/MLM.

You have a multiple Streams of income strategy, why?

Well first I think it’s important to understand that building Multiple Streams of Income doesn’t mean being distracted by multiple opportunities.  It means staying focusing on building ONE opportunity at a time, and then once that opportunity is producing significantly and consistently, only then you build another opportunity.  

The end result is multiple streams of income, and that’s always a good idea because you never want to put all your eggs in one company’s basket.

I also try to identify income streams with products that complement each other.  For example, I use Pure Leverage’s suite of marketing tools (like their autoresponder) to build my Empower Network business.  I also use Empower Network’s blogging platform to build my Pure Leverage business. I’ve found it’s much easier to promote products that are related to each other.

You slogan is Where Team Comes Before Tissa, how come?

In this business, the greatest success comes to those who focus on helping others by providing as much value as possible.  That doesn’t mean doing the heavy lifting for them, but it means thinking in terms of “How can I inspire?” rather than “How can I get a sign-up?”  

I’m reminded of my favorite quote, by Zig Ziglar: You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want.  At TeamTissa, I focus on helping my Team members get what they want, so I can get what I want.  That’s what Team before Tissa means.

Again, there’s no “secret” as such, but if I had to credit one thing, it would be focusing on how I can provide value and inspire others.  If you do that long enough, you start to build invaluable relationships where people come to know, like and trust you.  And remember, people don't join programs – they join people.  I don’t think in terms of closing sales, but in terms of building friendships.  

I once heard Holton Buggs say in a speech that no one will ever out-friend him, which is why he’s the #1 earner in MLM.  That’s the secret, if there is one.

Is personal development important for you?

Absolutely.  If there’s any “secret” to success in network marketing, it’s personal development.  Most people incorrectly believe that the biggest challenges they’re facing are generating traffic, or generating leads, or generating customers.  Not so.  I’ve found that the biggest challenge most people face (whether they realize it or not) is lacking the proper mindset.  Most people don’t truly believe what they are capable of, or they let negativity and naysayers get the best of them.

Are you "babysitting" your team members?

I used to.  In the beginning, I tried to attract prospects and build my Team by offering as many free tools as possible that aimed to make things as easy as possible.  It took me a while to realize that all I was doing was attracting people who wanted as many free tools as possible without doing any work!

So not only was I doing myself a disservice, but I was also doing them a disservice by not teaching them that there's no substitute for hard work, especially when you’re starting out.  (After that, it gets much easier!)

What are your plan and goals for the future?

My vision is to build an inner circle of ten Team members who are each earning at least $10,000 per month, consistently.  “Tissa’s Top Ten” as I call it.  These are Team members who have made the greatest commitment to their businesses by going All-in, whom I will coach and mentor to six figures a year.  Once we do that, then it’s just a matter of time before “Tissa’s Top Twenty” and “Tissa’s Top Thirty” will follow. Krystal and I…we both work full-time jobs. We take our daughter to daycare every morning at 7 a.m., prior to pre-school starting. After pre-school, she goes to afterschool care until we can make our way back from work, which is usually around 6 p.m.

This is our current routine, but it is temporary. Our ultimate goal is to take back control of our lives so that we can determine how much money we make, when we take vacations, and how much family time we can spend together.

Once our mynt income exceeds the income from both our full-time jobs, we’ll leave those jobs and focus solely on the mynt lifestyle. And, for us, that means time freedom, financial freedom, and lots of quality time together as a family.

Not waiting for retirement

It has been embedded into everyone’s head that you go to school, get a career, work for 30+ years, and then retire finally having time to do what you want. With mynt each person has the same opportunity on the same compensation plan to achieve whichever destiny they choose.
